Yes, it's feasible to adjust the CL timing for the kit to run at CL16. The G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16GB kit supports timings such as CL18-22-22-42 and can be configured accordingly. Mobo: Rog strix b550-i gaming CPU: 5600x Link to kit

CL18 to16 shows almost no noticeable variation. Differences like 16-20-20-40 versus 18-22-22-44 are minimal. Samsung B-die seems superior to most alternatives, while Micron E-die also performs well. F4-3600C18D-16GTZN doesn't stand out either.
