I tried to fix the problem with my clients' PCs, but encountered this issue too. One client had a fresh Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installation as well. They need to update instead of reinstalling. Why am I not seeing the right settings on all their computers? Could you assist me?

It seems "preferences" was meant for older setups on a domain controller (GPMC console) rather than the local gpedit console. Others suggest you might configure a DC and transfer the necessary files to apply local policies. Refer to the link provided: https://sdmsoftware.com/group-policy-blo...l-gpo-yes/. Be aware that if your client PC is managed by their work domain, domain policies will take precedence over local settings, leaving no option to modify them outside the registry without risking rollback when policies change.
