I understand many folks were unhappy with GRID 2 due to its sluggish controls and frequent crashes, but I found it appealing because the developers enhanced the sound and visuals. The original GRID offered a great driving experience across different modes like drift, 24H LeMans, and endurance racing. Most of its initial features—such as handling and other aspects—are now available in GRID Autosport, which should help ease those concerns. What are your thoughts on the game? Have you played it yourself?
I enjoyed the initial GRID but found the second version less appealing. After reviewing opinions and discussions online, I think this one might suit me better since most agree it feels more similar to GRID 1. I'm still weighing whether it's the right choice for testing purchases from G2A, especially given its nearly half-off price compared to similar items.

This adjustment turned the game into a night and day experience, becoming very playable with a gamepad. The natural understeer improved significantly, especially when using a controller. Configuration editing feels much smoother now. #:Games/steam/steamapps/common/GRID Autosport\input\xinput_pad_0.xml is the file location, or wherever you saved the game. Keyboard and other input XML files are available there, and steering settings are typically at the top. If you're using an Xbox 360 Gamepad, I highly suggest applying these changes.
