I'm not recommending yes or no, but if you skip buyer protection and try to proceed, they won't assist you. I purchased one, though I'm not supporting it because it's a gray zone—we skipped steps. My key didn't activate. I received the protection and described the problem. The support rep managed to complete the phone activation and provided the key afterward. The decision is yours.
