I recently reinstalled Minecraft after upgrading from a GTX 670 to a 2070 super. It now runs at about 30-40 FPS, which is a drop from its previous performance of around 100 FPS. I've reinstalled the game, Windows, Java, and tried optimizers and windowed mode without success. The CPU stays under 60% usage (i7-3770K @3.5GHz) and my 32GB DDR3 RAM isn't a problem. This is the only game struggling with frame rate. Any suggestions would be helpful.

All my drivers remain current with no updates affecting performance when setting frame rate limits.

Open the control panel, use Windows OS, change the game to GPU mode, and set it to integrated by default.
