Excellent performance from both sides, with no one relying heavily on fnatic's boost. Maikelele delivered a strong start in DreamHack, making it a compelling match to watch. Excited about next year and the unexpected twists CS:GO brings us.

I really appreciate the forest receiving a PS4 as a reward for being the top performer in the competition.

Honestly, among all the teams competing at DHW 2014 LDLC, NiP was the one I truly supported. The last three maps were incredibly intense. The matches were razor-thin (except for Inferno). The final map in Overpass could have turned either way if NiP had made a different move during overtime. Still, I’m thrilled to have seen them in the finals. NiP seems to be returning to their earlier form after just three weeks of practice—what a shock! I’m eager to watch what they achieve in the coming months. I’m not sure what Fnatic was planning when they kept relying on that boosting tactic in the final map against LDLC. It’s hard to believe they genuinely considered it a core feature, even though its power was immense. They made the right decision by leaving; they remain a strong team and showed impressive professionalism, but well done.

Maikelele stood out at Dreamhack Winter. His performance with the AWP was outstanding and very bold.

They didn't perform well in the second half, but their first half was great. It wasn't just that they were completely outmatched, or it would have been a 16-0 loss. The game was tight.

Tbh I’d pick Happy for MVP overall. He delivered strong performances throughout the entire event. He consistently dominated games, maintained AWP at elite levels, and adapted well to every map. He also served as the team’s IGL. While my personal opinion on Maikelele was mixed, I thought he was slightly overrated during this competition. He had solid moments but often found himself near the top or bottom of the leaderboard. Watching him in GOTV, he seemed really anxious and hesitant, especially when facing tough fights—he appeared too afraid to push forward or take chances he could have won. It makes sense that he felt nervous; with time, it should improve. I don’t think he’s quite at the top tier anymore, though. If he could handle losing a few duels without getting rattled and maintain strong performance consistently, he might be in contention alongside JW and Guardian. But right now, I don’t believe he’s close enough to that level.

This tournament was tough for GeT_RiGhT—I’m just noting it here. He used to win 1v2s over half the time when he was strong, but here he struggled with 1v1s. Most of his kills came from more traditional roles rather than his usual stealth play. I feel he’s slipped in skill, which is disappointing. He remains a top-tier player, but he’s not quite at the peak anymore. In fact, I’d say he’s now one of the worst among the best. Of course, I’m just saying he’s the lowest performer in the group right now.

Overpass has a lot of CT angles. I believe NiP didn’t perform poorly in the second half at all. Each team played their best, and LDLC won by scoring more rounds on the challenging side.

Nip was close to winning, probably around 15-14, but the team made a mistake. I was really counting on this to be a comeback, since they’ve been struggling lately, yet winning would have been even better.
