So in a tight match on Overpass, LDLC narrowly edged out NiP in overtime, securing the Dreamhack Winter championship! As Devilwalk put it, Olofpass. How do you feel about the victory? I believe it’s completely earned. They performed well and dominated NiP, but I’m hoping NiP will regroup stronger at the next big event. Forest also took MVP of the weekend, which is interesting since I’d preferred Maikelele. His new AWPing style really impressed NiP.

They didn't beat me by much; Nip's side came out in overtime but wasn't strong enough. The rush was fast, with too many delays from Nip's side. On the other side, Nip waited too long and nearly lost because of time. Looking at how Nip has been playing lately, they really did a great job.

it was 11:4 first half, and 11:4 second half, i'd definitely say thats not outplaying them (its a fairly heavy ct map)

Not really, Lays... that's a common score for CT side. Even with 11-4, the match wasn't over yet. I think NiP had several chances to win before it went into overtime, but there were some tough moments, especially from f0rest at the end. Overall, it was a solid final across all three maps.

They also tried pixel walk. It should have been included. #nip4life

They performed adequately, though on Overpass I’d note they were quite careless at certain spots. The handling of the LDLC vs FNATC challenge wasn’t very polished, which is why I still don’t feel fully satisfied. Still, it’s understandable given the situation.

I'm not sure about the Maikelele segment. She performed really well, though I still believe the overall was the strongest. Don't overlook GeT_RiGhT either.

I originally supported NIP, but after observing many Swedish supporters in the audience I shifted my stance to LDLC. I was really pleased when LDLC emerged victorious and left the room without any applause.

They gave a brief cheer, but the Swedes were clearly upset. It makes sense they didn’t react much—they’d just witnessed a tough loss after a tight match. Their disappointment would be understandable, and it’s okay to feel sad when a team falls short. No need to mock fans who support their rivals.
