A few months back I installed the AMD Gaming Evolved App on my laptop with an A8 APU. After setting it up, creating a Raptr account, updating drivers, and installing some games, I managed to rack up around 900 points in TF2. I wasn’t sure what to do with them until recently. I got a newsletter from Raptr and saw an XFX R9 290 listed—it offered a giveaway for just 500 points! Really, thanks AMD (or Raptr) and everyone who owns an AMD card, download the Gaming Evolved. I wish NVIDIA had something similar. Are you using the app? Have you optimized your graphics card in any way?

Absolutely, that's true. You can't rely on this to get the best results.

You'll never come out on top, I invested more than 1k points there. For documentation, MSI Afterburner works well (it's better since it supports Intel QuickSync). As the game changed, this app became essential.

If you truly believe you can win, it's best to invest everything in lottery tickets. After all, you won't actually win.

I currently have a total of zero points. This shows just how much effort I put into it.

Regardless of what the Nvidia fans say, I enjoy the app for its ability to capture high-quality gameplay at record speeds without any overlays, making it possible to play almost any game smoothly. B)

Streaming or recording requires an overlay, and no game exists that Raptr can play or Shadowplay can't. Raptr is essentially an overlay tool. Competitions linked to the software don't improve it or AMD's position. Nvidia also runs contests, but you don't need to use a particular program to qualify for entries.
