Great FPS but bad performance
I just recently been having trouble with games running at a low FPS, but according to GeForce Experience and in-game FPS counters, I am getting well above 100FPS. Specifically on these two games I get an average of about 115 to 130FPS. If this matters, the games where this happens are Hunt: Showdown and Dead by Daylight. This issue isn't constant either; in both games, sometimes I will play one or two games that seem slow, then the next game runs very smoothly, but as you can see I am getting the same range of FPS no matter what it is. It's really inconsistent, sometimes it lasts for a long time playing sometimes only half the time. My GPU drivers are up to date. Really not sure what to do for this situation I have never had this happen before. Any responses will be greatly appreciated!
When sharing a thread about fixing something, it helps to give all your computer parts details. Just list them like this: CPU: Motherboard: RAM: SSD or HDD: Graphics Card (GPU): Power Supply Unit (PSU): Case: Operating System: Monitor: Also tell how old the PSU is besides its make and model name. Have you tried playing other games to see if the problem gets worse? For example, mention what version of the GPU driver and the BIOS are currently installed on your motherboard.
