Graphics issues identified in Call of Duty.
So this is just something I've been wondering. So the call of duty people apparently say that they don't have the best graphics because they strive to get 60fps across all platforms. Why can't they just make OK graphics for the console and than make good graphics for the pc with the ability to turn down the graphics so people with lower end stuff can still get 60 fps. Is what they are saying just BS?
I captured those exact words from your speech. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.
I've often questioned why benchmarks show such differences—like 65-70 fps for a 780 TI card in ultra on Cod Ghosts, versus 100-120 fps in BF4 on ultra. BF4 looks better and seems more demanding because of its larger maps and complexity. COD feels so much harder to run, isn't it?
Mind keeping my words safe, bro? Call of Duty seems to be the top seller for consoles. That might be a plus if gamers stick with it instead of jumping to other titles like in Battlefield. #butthurtbattlefieldfan
I've seen this pattern continue after the release of "next-gen" consoles. I'm curious how long it will take for creators to recognize the importance and invest in quality game development. It seems unlikely, given the revenue they generate, since they often prioritize sales over innovation.
