Graphics demanding games
The most graphics-intensive games of 2020 included titles that pushed hardware limits, such as "Cyberpunk 2077," "Elden Ring," and "Starfield." These games required high-end graphics settings to deliver their full visual experience.
Some players using 2080TI models face issues when trying to exceed high settings, often causing frame rate drops, while the game includes a full Ultra preset for advanced users.
Flight Simulator 2020, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Metro Exodus featuring ray tracing all require significant performance.
Using my configuration, RDR 2 and AC:O are the most challenging, consistently under 60fps at 4K on ultra settings. Control feels off without ray tracing, so I played at 1440p with RT. For a replay, I’d try DLSS 2 at 4K since it renders there. SOTTR and Metro Exodus run smoothly in the 70s at 4K ultra without ray tracing. With ray tracing, I lowered resolution to 1440p. Flight Simulator 2020 is tough due to its updated engine version. Flight Simulator X performs well around 30fps at 4K on large airports. In 2005 I was around 15fps. It doesn’t rely on the GPU.
