I recommend preparing funds for a Ryzen enhancement, or opting for a previous OEM 2nd or 3rd generation i7 to achieve a more affordable improvement.

I thought it was around 860K. You should upgrade your CPU. A Ryzen 3 is a solid choice (coming soon). For better performance, consider the Ryzen 5 1400 or 1600 if you can afford it.

Absolutely, using an older i7 OEM setup allows you to repurpose your RAM.

When the processor runs between 60-70%, it suggests drivers may not be functioning properly. The game isn't fully utilizing the available threads. Having all cores at 100% is the clearest sign of a problematic CPU, but even then, performance remains limited.

No, just two cores means you won’t be able to run many games smoothly.

What options are available? Keeping costs low is a priority.
