I have just received the Asus ROG Strix B550-F-Gaming motherboard. I was thinking about installing an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G CPU that supports graphics. Before proceeding, would it be wise to opt for an AMD Ryzen 7 series CPU without graphics support and pair it with an 8 GB graphics card? Is this a better option compared to choosing a CPU with graphics support but no graphics card?

This depends on how the system is planned to be used. The graphics capabilities built into a CPU are much less than those of a separate graphics card. Unless you need medium to high-end gaming or video production, the on-CPU graphics with an AMD chip should suffice.
