Hello everyone, I’m attempting to resolve an issue with Rockstar Games where support tickets are frequently closed despite the problem continuing to occur. The specific problem arises while playing GTA, exclusively within the open world (both single-player and online), and only with this particular game. I experience frame rate drops and texture issues – specifically, buildings and structures vanish, and my frame rate decreases from 60 to 1-2 frames per second for a few seconds before returning to normal, only to repeat the cycle. I haven’t encountered this problem with GTA in the past and haven't played for a year, only to return and experience it now.

I’ve already updated all my drivers, and my computer is a fairly powerful system. Importantly, this issue didn't exist before, reinforcing that it’s a new development. My system specifications are: CPU: i5 4690, GPU: MSI GTX 960, RAM: 16gb, MOTHERBOARD: H97 gaming 3. GTA is installed on a hard drive, and I have a solid-state drive for my operating system and applications. Temperatures are consistently stable around 50°C. Rockstar support suggested that the issue might stem from graphics settings and advised lowering quality, however, my graphics card’s slider is set to its lowest level with all settings at “normal.”

I've searched extensively online for solutions, but diverse methods have been tried without success. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Your computer is struggling to display the visuals, so please check your in-game settings and consider adjusting them – perhaps try a medium setting if you haven’t already. I experienced this issue previously, and it resolved itself when I modified my settings.

I've completed that task, yet even when using standard language, I encounter the identical issue.

The game’s performance is harmed because its primary process operates with elevated importance and disregards other running threads, resulting in it continuing to execute without complete data – for example, significant portions of the environment.

You can address this issue using a complimentary software program called Process Explorer.

This tool effectively reveals the problem and illustrates how the correction affects gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VN-mdoMDuSQ

The method is simpler to understand, as it demonstrates the entire procedure during game loading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8DQl_VRiPw
