Over the past few days, I've been enjoying GTA 5 and noticed a significant decrease in my frame rate—falling from the 80s to approximately 37-47—when viewing specific elements, particularly when increasing the water quality settings to high or very high. Simultaneously, my graphics card utilization decreased from a consistent 80-90% to only 40-50%.

My system specifications are as follows: Vega 56, Ryzen 7 2700x, 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1080p display at 75Hz.

Steps I've already taken include: reducing all graphics settings to the minimum, maintaining water quality at "very high," modifying Radeon preferences, and altering power options.

That seems peculiar, considering you possess a remarkably effective and impressive setup.

I wish I could provide a solution for you.

It’s probable that you've updated all your drivers, but perhaps a thorough DDU scan followed by a reinstall would be beneficial...

Thank you for your patience and response! I will attempt it.
Edit: Sadly, that did not succeed.
