GPUAMD RX 6600 fails to reach over 2098MHz speed.
I was playing with my friend and he had a 2060 while I had an RX 6600. He said I was getting high FPS, I thought it was the same, which confused me because I expected better performance with my newer GPU. After running FurMark, I noticed HW Info appeared on my second monitor, but nothing else was active. Both tools indicated a 20% power limit increase, yet my system only reached 2098 MHz or less. I tried afterburner and overclocking using AMD drivers, which increased the power limit and gave a noticeable boost. However, no matter what I did, the performance didn’t improve and temperatures stayed below 60°C, usually around 55°C or lower. Comparing this to when I first got the GPU and tested it, it used to push over 2300 MHz with more than 15 FPS gains—now it just doesn’t boost at all.
Additionally, the hot spot and junction temperatures stayed at 76 degrees or below throughout the FurMark evaluation.
I've already restarted and updated the drivers, but they still wouldn't download and kept showing a space issue error. I don't know if it's related to my GPU or drivers. Appreciate the help!
