SOLVED: The defective Wi-Fi chip was the root cause. Installed a replacement and everything worked fine. Greetings, I recently assembled a new computer and faced an odd problem. I have a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter in the PCI Express 1 port. Whenever the GPU is under stress during gaming or testing (such as Total War: Warhammer or AMD Adrenalin), my PC loses Wi-Fi and can't locate any networks, while Bluetooth remains functional. The problem continues even after closing the game or stress test, and only restarting the PC restores connectivity—sometimes needing extra reboots, Windows troubleshooting, or additional attempts. Other devices on the same network are unaffected. My actions so far: reinstalled the newest Wi-Fi drivers (version 22.150.0 for Intel adapter), placed the card in the PCI Express 1 slot nearer to the GPU (this worsened the issue, no networks found post-restart), updated BIOS to 2803, updated GPU drivers to 22.6.1, turned off Bluetooth on the extension card, disabled "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", switched off "Ultra High Band (6GHz)", lowered 2.4GHz channel width to 20MHz, set 5GHz to 20MHz, adjusted 6GHz to 20MHz, changed HDMI/DP cables, and turned off "Radeon Chill". System: CPU AMD Ryzen 5600X, cooler DeepCool K400, motherboard ASUS B550-A (BIOS 2803), SSD WD_BLACK 1TB SN750 SE NVMe, RAM TeamGroup DDR4 2x8GB at 3200MHz, GPU PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX6700, power supply EVGA Supernova G+ 750W gold. Wi-Fi card Fenvi FV-AXE3000 AX210NGW PCI-E, installed in the third PCI Express 1 slot at the bottom. Temperatures: CPU under 70°C, GPU below 78°C during stress tests. It looks like you're wondering if the power supply might be the issue, given the ample PSU. However, the setup seems improbable. You might want to inspect the connections on the card and slot.

All PCI-E 1x ports are controlled by the chipset. Would you like to attempt a BIOS update? Please read every changelog carefully, as some BIOS needs specific chipset drivers or a prior update before proceeding. Ensure power remains stable and avoid damaging your device. Check Event Viewer on your PC for any recurring errors related to the slot or card—this could indicate a chipset problem or issues with Windows driver management.
