I encountered an issue with my ASUS TUF F15 (507VV) -I7 13620H (with UHD) running Windows 11 24H2 after updating the Nvidia driver to 576.02. The system temperature fluctuates between 35-60°C and remains elevated regardless of the boot process. Monitoring tools report consistent readings, except for the Nvidia app. When I test the GPU in Ultimate mode (Armory Crate) or switch to Standard mode with Optimus, the temperature stays high. In MSHybrid mode, Windows selects the GPU automatically, but the issue persists. I suspect the fan control might be managed through the software, though fans do increase when stressing it. The Nvidia app shows normal temperatures (79°C), while the hardware monitor flags a hotspot. Recently, I confirmed that fan speed adjustments help, even at high temps. I tried several fixes: updating drivers, reverting to an older driver version, toggling between modes, and disabling the GPU entirely. Switching Optimus to Nvidia only didn’t resolve it. I still want a permanent solution since I use this laptop on a charger and prefer automatic power-saving features.

Zrdavo Velja, rollback nvidia driver to 566.36 is recommended due to problems with the 40 series when using newer drivers. This fix worked for my laptop with a 4070 chip. You can search online to verify the details. Good luck and let me know if it helped. Lp, Danijel

Interesting observation about 566.36 being the most stable in the 40 series. Consider going back if needed. //D
