Hey everyone, about to begin adjusting my new 980 Ti 6gb. It's currently at around 38c idle and 70-75c under load. I've seen mixed advice—some say temperatures over 70c are risky while others think it's okay. I have stock cooling and was thinking about tweaking the fan speed curve, but wasn't sure if that would damage the fan. Also, any advice on boosting the memory speed? It's running near 1200mhz and I'm aiming for about 1400mhz safely. Thanks!

Anything under 80*C is acceptable. I view temperatures between 80-90C as safe, though improved airflow would be preferable at that level. Unless fans are running at full capacity continuously, you won’t damage them by slightly increasing speed during gameplay.
