hello everyone, i recently assembled a new pc using the processor - ryzen 5 5500 mb - msi b450m-a pro max ll ram - g skill ripjaws v3600mhz 16 gb (2 x 8) gpu - asrock challenger rx 7800 xt 16 gb psu - msi mpg a850g 850watt atx3.0 pcie 5.0 compatible windows 10 - latest updates on storage - samsung 970 pro 512gb monitor - aopen 1080p 24" 144hz freesync monitor every game i play encounters some issues, i tried prototype 2 which freezes at 24fps when resolution is set to 1080p or 720p, but it runs at 60fps in other settings. in games like witcher 3 it fails to launch and keeps crashing with the amd adrenaline 23.12.1 driver, sometimes it shows a missing driver warning. i need to reinstall it via ddu. when using my laptop with rtx 3060 and intel 10500h it works fine, so the problem might be with my driver or another factor.

You've already completed a proper DDU, yet it's still occurring? It seems like the problem might be related to software or a driver. If this happens after a fresh Windows installation, it could indicate an issue with the card itself.

Check if it's the card itself, as the prototype 2 remains unchanged. Could be a freeSync issue.

Prototype 2 is an older title that has encountered problems randomly since its release because of Windows Live DRM. A pirated version functions properly.
