Hello, I own an i9-12900H with an RTX 3090, a 1000W power supply, and 64 GB of RAM. Recently, my PC has been getting hot when I first turn it on, especially before starting any work. When I launch an app or check Task Manager, the GPU shuts down and returns to normal temperature. Could anyone suggest a fix? Thank you, Edited November 19, 2024 by Bamise
Generally, it's normal for components to warm up when the system boots or starts. The exact temperature depends on the device and usage, but it's usually within typical operating ranges.
Occasionally reaches temperatures around 70°C, which is sufficient to warm the air near my desk (especially since I'm in a warm climate).
When facing pressure during gaming or stress tests, performance remains stable.
Thank you, your concerns about the startup temperatures remain valid.
I identified the issue by checking Task Manager and found it in Intel Driver Manager. Removing it resolved the unexpected GPU activity. Since then, the spikes have stopped occurring.
