Hi guys,
I recently installed the Gainward Expertool (I also have Afterburner) and made some adjustments to my GTX 1070. Specifically, I overclocked it slightly (+93 clock and +200 MHz) and saved the settings in the tool. After testing, I restored everything to factory defaults using a reset. Now, even after deleting the Expertool, the GPU automatically applies the settings from the tool. GPU-Z still displays the stock values. Even when I open Afterburner, the overclock is applied without me doing anything. I have to reset it every time in Afterburner.

This isn’t related to Boost 3.0, since the overclock persists even during idle. I downloaded the Expertool again and reset everything, but the issue continues. Why is this happening? Did I make a mistake? Could the Expertool have altered my GPU’s BIOS? How can I revert everything back to normal without using Afterburner?

Thanks for your help.

Might need to eliminate every driver marked with DDU during safe mode, followed by installing
