I've been working with different PCs for a few years, but overclocking has never come up before. I recently made a decision to build a "budget gaming PC" and thought it would be fun to try overclocking. For the CPU, I'm certain I can't adjust the voltage since it's locked. My main concern is whether my GPU will work with the changes.
P c specs:
CPU: i3-2120
Gpu: gigabyte GeForce gtx 1050 OC (overclock)
Ram: G.skill ripjaws v DDR4 2400 8GB
Psu: evga 450 watt w1
MOBO: msi b250m provdh
I understand the graphics card can be overclocked, but I'm unsure if the rest of the system will support it. I just want to avoid damaging anything while learning about this process.

The rest of the system doesn't affect GPU overclocking; it's handled through SW. The main issue is that cards lacking extra power need a PCIe 75W connection, which could limit GPU overclocking and might exceed what the motherboard can provide.
