I attempted to increase the overclock of my GTX 1080 core clock using MSI Afterburner. It seems I may have added too much clock speed, causing the PC to crash and display graphical issues every time I start it. After a few seconds, I lose interaction and must restart the system.

You might also need to remove MSI afterburner or its driver. I encountered this problem while trying to overclock my 1070.

Start in safe mode via BIOS, then press Del or F2, and remove the OC profile.
