I increased my GPU's overclock settings and it works well with good performance. I can handle intense gaming at 70-72°C. With memory set to 1344MHz and 1750MHz, undervolting to 1085mV and a 20% power limit on AMD software, I ran all games and tests without issues. Today, after booting up, I noticed strange colors on the desktop and the screen went black. I didn’t apply the overclock yet. This happened randomly—just when I played on the overclock profile about an hour ago. After turning off the PC for an hour and then turning it back on, it worked fine again by pressing the power button and shutting it down. What caused this problem?

It can cause damage? Everyone is saying something different.

Also when using the overclock profile right after Windows boots and then launching the game promptly, sometimes a black screen appears. It usually takes around five minutes after booting before everything works perfectly. I’m confused because I thought I was back to the stock settings with a 1150 MHz hot card running at 75°C, where the clock only reached up to 1244 MHz, fluctuating between 1100 and 1170 MHz. If I increase the power limit to keep it stable at 1244 MHz, that card should run smoothly, but the card itself would still go up to 80°C.

Artifacts and color defects indicate damage to the VRAM.

Did your graphics card ever get utilized for mining purposes? Were you purchasing it as a brand-new item?

I don't think about stock settings, but when I restarted the system that time the card was in stock mode and no overclock applied. The GPU was new about half a year ago for gaming, and its VRAM is now at 1500 MHz on this card, which I believe is up to 1750 without any changes to the voltage.
