Hello everyone, i'm trying to increase the clock speed of my AMD Phenom II X3 Black Edition to 3.2Ghz. However, after doing that and restarting the PC, the GPU isn't detected. I installed drivers while the CPU was overclocked, but it still doesn't work. When I turn off the overclock, the GPU functions properly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

How are you boosting performance so aggressively? What exactly are you doing?
Well, essentially when I raise the CPU Clock Ratio to five times or more, this happens. But everything works fine when it’s set to AUTO.
The issue here is that the board and CPU combination is quite old. Increasing the multiplier on that board boosts all aspects, which is why Nvidia no longer produces motherboard chipsets due to frequent problems like yours.
You have a modern GPU, but it’s limited by that outdated CPU. Even if you push it to its limits, it won’t significantly improve results. It’s time to upgrade.

What you're referring to is when the GPU isn't detected. This could happen if you've overclocked it excessively and it fails to boot. It might also mean your motherboard or CPU can't support it, or your power supply is inadequate.

What do you mean by GPU not found? Are you experiencing no display at all? This could happen if you overclocked too much and it fails to boot. It might be due to your motherboard or CPU not being able to handle it, a weak PSU, etc. Everything seems to boot normally, just like when you preinstall Windows without drivers.

I also increased the overclocking so low that even when I restart, I can't install drivers. But once everything is back to normal, the GPU functions properly. Motherboard model: GA-M57SLI-S4. GPU: GTX 1050Ti.

I'm currently working on overclocking, specifically adjusting the settings to increase performance.

What's your method for overclocking? Specifically, how do you do it? Generally, adjusting the CPU Clock Ratio to 5 times or more causes this issue. However, with AUTO enabled, everything functions properly.
