I bought a used PC from the Facebook marketplace yesterday for $100, aware it had problems, and I chose to take it in and try to repair it.

The PSU is from EVGA, with a rated power of 700W and an efficiency of 80+ Gold. The advertised wattage is 700W, but the actual performance depends on the unit's age. Did the seller mention the model number?

Uncertain about the model during the PSU setup. Didn't inquire about the age of anything. It's a gigabyte motherboard, but I don't know the exact model right now. I wouldn't assume a faulty power supply since it starts up properly with an RTX 3070 and an older RX 580.

If it works well with other GPUs but doesn't display on another machine, it's probably an issue with the 6600xt. Fixing it would be more expensive than its current worth.

I thought about getting more ideas, just to see what else could be tried. Since I can afford it, adding another GPU should still work fine for me.

After the initial startup following a Windows reinstall, I noticed some output appeared. However, after rebooting the AMD software and another complete Windows installation, no output was observed again.
