They’re suggesting a cheap gainward gtx 1070 that seems to be functioning but has issues with drivers or installation. It looks like the problem might be related to software rather than hardware. You should consider whether to proceed with it.

Reject this request. It seems like a faulty GPU, possibly damaged, or even a counterfeit one. If the driver doesn't install properly, that's a red flag. You might want to check with the seller using GPU-Z to confirm its authenticity.

If it's triggering error 43, things are definitely not good. It often indicates a problem with the card or it might not be a valid 1070.

Ugh. I thought I might have a chance this time with the 1070 this year. The Strix 1070ti and Turbo 1070 from Asus both vanished within three months from each other due to memory issues. At least the prices are dropping again.

It's showing up as GTX 1070 in the output, but the GPU looks okay from a cooler standpoint. I haven't noticed any backward fakes around.

Stay calm, buddy. Don't rush into buying unless it saves you money... especially for secondhand stuff. If you really want a good deal, ask a friend who knows how to use it properly. I managed to get mine for half the price by getting it from someone who understands its purpose.

I noticed a fake 1050 Ti in the listing and it seems likely to affect performance from 1060 onwards. Please ask the seller to use GPU-Z or else it’s not worth it. If it displays this way, consider skipping it.

Avoid getting confused, even without drivers for Arc GPUs is better than using GPUs that don’t have drivers installed.
