Hello everyone,
Over the past few months, my PC has been experiencing some issues.
When I'm gaming, especially at 140+ frames per second, I suddenly notice a sharp drop in FPS and the game freezes briefly.
A log file from HWinfo shows the problem occurs within the last five seconds, and it looks like the GPU loses power, causing the clock to drop.
I've attached the log for anyone who wants to check it out, as I'm not sure what's going on.
I've tried many things—running tests, checking the GPU under warranty, replacing the PSU and CPU cooler, disabling XMP, and even using MemoryTest86.
All components are still under warranty except the motherboard. Could it be the motherboard that's causing the issue?
My current specs are: CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D, GPU AMD Radeon 6800 XT, motherboard MSI Mortar B550M Wifi, PSU Corsair Rm1000X Shift, SSD WD Sn850X, RAM Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 3200mhz 2x16Gb, and CPU cooler Artic Liquid Freezer III 360.
It's getting really frustrating, so I appreciate all your help.
Thanks, everyone.

Hello there! Could you please share the BIOS version you're using for your motherboard right now? Also, what is the make and model of your case?

I'm using the most recent BIOS update, version 7C94v1I, and it's for a Lian Li Lancool 216.

Ensure all system components are current with the most recent bios updates. Install the latest chipset driver and any additional drivers. Update the GPU driver as well.

I will update the BIOS as soon as I get home.
Regarding the other drivers, everything is already updated—I tried DDU, reinstalled Windows, and even attempted an offline installation to rule out any issues.

Check if the GPU is overheating, verify case temperatures are typical, and ensure all motherboard temperature sensors are functioning correctly with normal readings.

Everything appears to be functioning properly or at least seems stable, with good temperatures. The CPU stays below 70 and the GPU maintains consistent performance even under stress testing.

Still not found the solution. I'll continue experimenting, and once I have a fix I'll share it here

Yeah, I've been looking into this for two years now, and recently I've become more interested in it than before. Thanks!
