Hello, your AMD RX 580 was functioning well in an earlier build with an Intel CPU. After switching to a new build featuring a Ryzen 5 3600 and ASRock 550M Pro4, you've updated the system with Windows 11 and the latest drivers. A few games are running smoothly, such as COD WZ and TF2, but others like CS2 and Fortnite cause immediate crashes. The PC shuts down completely, fans reach maximum speed, and you can only power it off by pressing the power button. After installing FurMark, tests passed without issues, yet FurMark(GL) still triggers a crash. Could there be a compatibility issue or driver conflict? Thanks.

Restart the GL dependencies, then apply DDU for fresh drivers, check if it improves the situation

It looks like you're encountering an issue with the PSU. The games you referenced, especially without an FPS cap, consume a lot of power (along with Furmark), which could be the cause. Avoid using Furmark—it drains power excessively and mainly affects the VRMs rather than stressing the GPU core properly.

I Have narrowed the problem. After more tests I found that it is nothing to do with GL. The PC crushes immediately after the GPU is stressed. So I moved the GPU in another rig with EVGA Z590 Dark and I5 10600KF and it tested OK so the GPU is fine. Than I moved it back in the AMD rig, but connected the GPU on the second PCIe slot, where it also works with no problem. So either the the first slot of the motherboard (brand new) is defective or is the fact that the first slot is PCIe Gen4 and the second where the GPU works is Gen3. Can't find an option in BIOS to change the PCIe from Gen4 to Gen3. And I did not check the PCIe version of the EVGA board. I know the BIOS of Z590 have the option to change the PCIe operation mode.
