I made that change to my 6700xt and it's now functioning properly. I just have to turn off the iGPU. It's strange how this happened—my PC was working well before. I was playing 1440p Ultra RTX in MH wilds, and after finishing my session it froze.

So should I stop worrying? I'm planning to go again and install 9070xt drivers. I'm just worried about the possibility that
@beyondlogic
was doubting my PSU or MOBO. I just need some proof.

It's quite unusual since you shouldn't need to disable it. It seems like the problem might be related to software rather than hardware, as simply turning off the IGP resolved it. You may want to verify the Windows graphics settings to ensure they weren't altered to favor IGP. Additionally, check if any changes were made to the Windows power settings or profile.

None of them change, but you wonder if it could be a bad PSU like the other person mentioned. It looks like power only flows when the system is under load. You’d want at least some baseline power even when idle. I’ve looked into similar problems and haven’t found anything matching what you’re experiencing.

I am currently using MHWilds with iGPU turned off, the 9070xt drivers installed, and my sensors failing to recognize the real specs of my card.
