I just upgraded my GPU from 6700xt to 9070xt. Everything seems normal now. I played MH Wilds for nearly ten hours. Today, after booting up, the GPU fans started spinning and then stopped when the monitor recognized me. I checked Device Manager and confirmed the 9070xt is detected. I also tried using an older GPU, but the same issue occurred.

Do the video card fans rotate when the GPU is under load? This resembles a fan stop trend that has become common in recent video cards, where fans remain still until the GPU reaches a specific temperature.

I attempted to stress the card, but it didn't work. In reality, whenever I tried stressing it, the iGPU was the one being stressed.

if you lack an hdmi or display port on the GPU, it won't be tested under stress.
also your PSU meets specifications, but it's advised to use at least 900w.

Igpu performance is limited, which might explain why it works with igpu.
You should connect the card using three separate GPU cables for proper operation.
Based on these points, it seems the PSU might be faulty (it's using igpu and drawing less power).

Sorry for the vagueness regarding the GPU. However, I'm using Powercolor hellhound, which suggests it requires 800W.

did you remove the amd drivers from the 6700 xt prior to installing the 9070 xt? are you connecting two separate gpu cables or just one?

Yes, I removed the drivers before setting up the 9070xt. I'm using two different cables now.

Remove the current AMD drivers display and attempt the 6700 XT. If it boots properly, continue; otherwise, the PSU might be faulty.
