I built my first PC for basic knowledge, got a 2060 Super Founders edition, and experienced major frame improvements. My FPS jumps from around 180 to 17 and changes often. It keeps dropping whether I cap it at 60 or 180. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

ASRock B450m steel legend motherboard paired with Ryzen 5 3400G and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 delivers strong performance. The Corsair CV550 power supply works well, and the WD Black NVMe SSD offers fast storage speeds. The system runs smoothly on Flight Simulator and Rogue Company, maintaining consistent frame rates.

If Fortnite isn't working, I'd attempt to reinstall it.

I initially got a Gigabyte 1650 Ti which worked smoothly in Fortnite. It wasn’t strong enough for flight simulation, so I returned it and bought the 2060 Super. The earlier model didn’t cause any frame drops.

Occasionally GPU software may malfunction during installation. Clear all drivers using DDU, reinstall, and share the results.
