Hey everyone, planning a new gaming setup for titles like CS:GO, GTA V, LOL, COD MW, Far Cry, God of War, Witcher 3? I’m considering swapping my current Asus GTX 1660 Super TUF X3 OC 6GB with an MSI GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER VENTUS GP OC 8. The price gap is about 128 euros. My build includes a Ryzen 5 3600, MSI X479, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and the rest you listed. Would it be worth upgrading to that GPU?

Usually I’d agree it’s a good investment, but perhaps not for those titles unless you’re targeting extremely high FPS. Still, maybe a newer card could help with the 1660s.

I mostly run through the games on low or medium settings since I don’t mind ultra graphics. The only one I play at full is League of Legends.

In the 1660s, if there are any games coming up, you might really enjoy playing something like Cyberpunk.

You won't be playing all those games, especially not Assassin's Creed. If I want a more stable experience, I'll aim for games with at least medium graphics and run smoothly on my system. I also plan to maintain this setup for the next three years. Thanks!

In the 1660s it should be possible, indeed. I’m suggesting because I’m not Nostradamus, but if you don’t want to spend extra for better graphics then it’s fine! But keep in mind, ultra settings are hard to distinguish now.
