GPU functions on older systems, but not newer ones.
No adjustment required. The card is an AsRock RX 570 with 8GB RAM. I updated the BIOS on another system and it installed automatically without searching. I verified it was using Microsoft Basic Display, which seemed unnecessary. Still curious why the 1650 worked immediately in the newer model but not in the 570.
It wasn't as straightforward as I expected. I couldn't locate the appropriate BIOS for my GPU. After using the AMDvbFlash tool, I encountered issues like P/N mismatches or Subsystem Mismatch errors. The device in question is an AsRock RX 570 Phantom Gaming D with 8GB RAM. TechPowerUp offered only two options: the current BIOS and another version.
I’ve checked all the BIOS options and still can’t get it to work. It looks like the Flash Tool is showing 4GB instead of the actual 8GB. Could be a mismatch between the card and the settings.
I attempted to update the BIOS on the motherboard, but it didn’t help. I went from the factory default settings to the latest available version. It seems like I’m planning to upgrade to a better GPU. This has been an unusual experience. Appreciate everyone offering assistance.
