I'm observing this now and wondering if the GPU's clock speed is expected to be very stable, around 1400 MHz as I remember from before. Recently it seems to fluctuate between 1100 and 1400 depending on how much the game is using resources (like maintaining 60 FPS in sync). I've set my GPU to prioritize maximum performance in the NVIDIA control panel for all my games, but I'm not sure why the clock speed changes. My system temperatures are normal. Does adjusting the clock speed affect performance during intense moments, such as when scenes spike and FPS drops briefly? Thanks ahead!

The speedometer should decrease as temperatures rise; you can adjust it in the control panel to maintain safety.

When the GPU isn’t required at full capacity, it will slow down to conserve energy.
