I'm assembling a PC for CS GO with the following details:
Processor: i5 13600kf
Motherboard: z790 ud ax
RAM: G.skill ripjaws s5 ddr5 6000mhz 2x16gb
Cooler: Noctua nh-d15
Power Supply: crosair rmx 850w (upgradable later)
Case: iridium 505f
Storage: kingston kc3000 2tb
The final part is the graphics card – I chose the RTX 3070. I want it to complement the CPU without being a bottleneck, but at this price I see a similar but slightly weaker option like the RTX 4060 Ti. It’s not ideal to pick the 4070, maybe when processors improve or AMD becomes available. Just a heads up, the 4070 isn’t really an option.
If you're buying a card for the first time, I'd suggest that you get the RTX4060Ti or slightly higher. AMD's equivalent is the RX7600.
PSU: crosair rmx 850w (upgradable later)
If the PSU is brand new for the build, no need to upgrade. It'll get the job done for the GPU purchase mentioned above.
Where are you located?
it seems at 1440p a msi rtx4070ti suprimx would work fine. if you check the bottleneck, they fit well together.
i use a 10900k with 64gb ram and 3600 on a maximus 12 hero z490 board, paired with 2 970evo plus 2tb m2 ssd and an msi rtx3080 suprim x 10gb, all running on windows 10. on a dell s2721dgf 27inch ips monitor at 165 cpu with a cosair 360 lcd aio. in cyberpunk 2077 with balanced dlss, i achieve around 140 fps in valhalla 125, hzd 141. you mentioned a similar issue, as the latest update for cyberpunk appears to require more cpu and gpu.
When examining tom's GPU hierarchy chart, the 3070 and 4060ti appear to have identical performance levels.
