I purchased a used RX 5700 XT and a 3600x B550 Asrock board with RAM. It’s my first gaming PC. The seller provided different RAM options and didn’t reply after I paid via PayPal. Everything appears functional. However, the GPU displays a green tint instead of black. The seller mentioned it worked before, but this is the same cable I use for my Apple TV and Surface. Could this be related to the RAM or memory module? Since I changed the CPU, it doesn’t seem like the issue is there. I’m looking for advice—200€ isn’t a small sum to waste on something this might be.
It's common to encounter issues where the GPU, cable, and monitor function separately, particularly with HDCP restrictions. Sometimes simply changing the video cable resolves the problem, but you might need to adjust the GPU output settings or the TV input configuration. For cables over a DisplayPort connection, forcing the signal to HDMI could potentially fix the issue.
