I'm not sure if my tags are correct. I have a concern about my GPU. It boots but shuts off after showing random screen issues and freezing. The freezes and glitches begin when I reinstall drivers after using my built-in GPU to remove its drivers. My GPU doesn't seem to freeze or crash even without drivers installed. I used the DDU tool to uninstall drivers, but the first random black screens started after inserting a USB camera after a Windows reinstall. Because my system slowed down due to many files, I ignored it. After a few days, the problem became daily. I looked up possible causes and it mentioned power issues. I tried what they suggested, but it didn't help. I thought it was related to the games I installed, but it wasn't. It started when I was playing Roblox Bru. I don’t know much about this, please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks.

I didn't see any USB device placed there. Could you clarify where you were asking about it?

It would help to understand the system details. Based on what I’d infer, you likely have an ATI X1800 XT running a Pentium 4 with DDR 400 MHz. This is probably an older configuration, so your setup might be more recent than that.

Thanks for the info. It seems quite outdated, since I purchased it via Facebook and it's a refurbished machine. My system specs are: Optiplex 390 DT i5-2400 GTX with 10GB RAM, 250W PSU (though I'm not sure if that's sufficient).

Sure, I can suggest testing the video card on another system. A friend or neighbor might be able to run diagnostics and check compatibility.

I noticed there are USB accessories on the back of the case, which is where my mouse and keyboard connect. The front part doesn’t work properly. The USB camera behaved differently before I reinstalled Windows and cleaned my hard drive files. Usually, when I plug it in, it can make my PC run slower, but I thought that was normal since my system is old.

It's a pretty new setup—your GPU might not be working well. Just try using the igpu, it should handle it fine.

I'll attempt it, thank you. Please let me know if I'm overcomplicating, and whether it's the GPU or something else.
