gpu + cpu + ram ?
gpu + cpu + ram ?
Hello everyone !
I'm trying to get the best performance from my upgraded laptop by heavily overclocking its parts, which include:
i7 2760QM
GeForce GT555m
16GB 1333MHz
But I want to do this safely while keeping everything working well together and efficiently. Any advice would be really helpful.
loraalkhara :
why this happens? aren't any laptops with bios capable of overclocking, particularly gaming models? i own an msi ge620dx and i'm certain i can.
i don't know your exact machine.
you have the means to test it.
access the bios and check if you can boost the cpu multiplier.
keep an eye on the multiplier and vcore using cpu-z.
if you manage to run a stress test and watch the temps, it might work.
laptop coolers are generally not very powerful.
if your temps reach 85c, that's roughly the maximum you can achieve.
why not? all laptops with BIOS should be capable of overclocking, particularly gaming models. I'm confident it's possible with my MSI GE620DX.
