I'm starting to upgrade my PC. I've already added more RAM and a 2070RTX. My current CPU is an i7-950. The ASUS X58 Sabortooth seems like it could be a good fit for this setup.

It's a 10-year-old CPU, so don't worry about explaining it. But that chip is the main thing slowing everything down.

The i7 950 supports certain games, though newer titles may face challenges. X58 offers ample space for solid modern performance—consider upgrading to a Xeon X5670 and boosting it for better gaming results. What upgrades are you planning?
