Hi, I understand the situation. My computer has been working perfectly for a few months without any new software or hardware changes. The GPU drivers were already up to date, and I didn’t see any unusual activity. The device status shows codes 22 or 31, which matches what I saw in the attached images. What’s causing this issue? I noticed my monitor went off during a game, and after restarting, the display adapter (AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT) stopped working. It also happened when I tried to enable it again and updated the drivers. The problem seems to occur even when idle, not just while playing games. Could you help me figure this out? Thanks!

Verify if your BIOS date and time have changed, which may indicate a failing motherboard battery. Your motherboard could already require a CMOS battery replacement.

Restart your BIOS to optimal configurations, activate the XMP preferred profile for your RAM, and adjust other hardware settings. Since you're using Windows 11, ensure the CSM feature is turned off.

On your Windows desktop, remove the GPU driver during uninstallation. Power off your PC, take out the physical GPU card, wait 8-10 seconds, then reinsert it. Disconnect and reconnect all GPU power cables.

Download and install a fresh GPU driver, then restart and verify the Device Manager if issues persist.

It could be connected to a similar problem; tried using the second BIOS.

Confirmed the time and date. Attempted to apply optimized defaults with CSM toggled on or off—no impact. Updated X570 Strix-E BIOS and tested both CSM enabled and disabled, but results remained the same. Used DDU as well, yet no improvement was observed. Unfortunately, none of your advice worked.

It seems this could be the right product @191x7. I’m going to need to handle an RMA soon.

It sounds like those options aren't working out. RMA could be your next step.

Hey, I hope you're doing well. I've been experiencing the same problem with my Asus TUF 6900XT lately. When I play games—especially during loading—I notice the window disconnect sound and my screen goes black. After a restart, it shows up at 1024x768 with a 1 Hz refresh rate until I reinstall the graphics driver. I'm curious if anyone has had success with an RMA process. I'm trying to keep it running by using just one display and turning off OBS. Let me know what you think!

Apologies for the delayed reply. I had to initiate a return and replacement, received the card back in NTF form. Then I reached out directly to Pegatron Sapphire with detailed info and my test results, including videos. Eventually, they sent me a refurbished card, but all three fans failed. Frustrated, I upgraded to an RTX 3090 and sent another RMA for the returned unit, which they then sold. Now I won't buy from Sapphire again. This experience really made me hesitant about purchasing AMD cards in the future.
