Sure! For your RTX 3060 Ti, look for a CPU with strong performance and good thermal management. A good choice would be an Intel Core i5-13600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. Make sure they support the necessary VRAM and have solid cooling options.

The Ryzen 5 3600 works fine, though it's a more affordable choice. I recommend going with the 5600X.

It really depends on your specific needs. High-quality 4K rendering and editing, top-tier Starcraft or Civilization gameplay, plus games powered by CS:GO or RED Engine (CP2077, Witcher series, etc.) all demand very different CPU specs. The typical suggestion is a Core i5 10400 (or 11400 if you choose the best price), or a Ryzen 5 5600x. If you're looking for used options, a Ryzen 5 3600 works well with a B450 motherboard. Don’t rely on just one person’s opinion—many have different views, and it’s helpful to hear detailed explanations from others.

He wanted something versatile for gaming and rendering, and I’m pretty sure neither of the processors I mentioned is problematic with a 3060 Ti for that purpose. Just a quick note.

The CPU performance hinges on several elements including the games you plan to play, your resolution and quality preferences, and any other tasks you perform with the PC. For gaming purposes alone, most six-core CPUs should suffice, though an eight-core model offers better reliability. As next-generation consoles adopt higher core requirements, opting for an eight-core processor becomes advantageous now. If you don’t plan to upgrade soon, securing an eight-core unit will ensure you’re prepared for future demands.
