I investigated further and believe MSI Afterburner was interfering with my fan settings. I turned it on at startup to analyze Jedi Survivor's FPS and performance, unaware that noise and temperatures increased during use. After disabling it, everything returned to normal. This update covers the fan curve issue. I also used a Corsair Commander Core controller; its behavior seemed odd last night but resolved when I restarted my PC. Tested by playing Destiny 2 for about an hour. Thanks for your help!
