Check the power settings in the Nvidia control panel, make sure they’re in the standard low-power mode.

It seems the issue likely stems from incorrect configurations in Nvidia Control Panel or Windows Power Plan. Adjusting those settings should resolve the problem. If not, it might be unrelated to performance settings.

It seems the latest version doesn’t include several power plans anymore, so you’ll need to set them up yourself.
