GOW4 doesn't accept 144hz frequency.
Playing on ultra causes noticeable jitter and inconsistency, especially at 60Hz refresh. I see 80-100fps but the experience feels unstable. Recommended settings like Ultra/High seem smoother but don’t quite fix it. In GOW4 there’s no option to enable 144Hz directly—maybe it’s handled differently. This is my best understanding of what might be happening.
