Got trouble moving my Microsoft Outlook files?
I need to move my Outlook 2010 data from an old computer to a new one. My PST file is huge at 8.6 GB. It is causing problems when I try normal transfers using the Export and Import tools in Outlook. When I try to export it, things go wrong. I am thinking about buying a PST mover or Remo Outlook back and Migrate software to make this move. Before I spend money on these options, anyone else have experience with them? Will it work with such a big file? Thanks
If you got a really good old Outlook on your brand new laptop, you don't need to move files back and forth. Just copy the old .pst file over and open it in Outlook there. Set that folder as your default one. I suggest logging into your accounts again from the start because I have an old PST file way back when dating 20 years ago that has kept going with different versions without any trouble.
