Here is my current setup: The first three parts are brand new. My power supply unit (PSU) comes from MSI, and the motherboard is also from MSI with model PRO B760M-P. Inside, I have an Intel Core i5-13400F processor running at 2.5 GHz. For memory, I used three sticks of RAM, but I only put in two because I tried removing one to check if it was causing the problem. My graphics card is a Sapphire, though I don't remember the exact model number anymore. I bought a monitor from GamePower and it actually works fine when plugged into my laptop.
When I started putting this together, something weird happened. Right after turning on the computer for the first time, all those little lights on the case turned white, then red, then black, and then suddenly the power went off automatically again. For the second time I tried to turn it on, only three lights stayed lit: white, yellow, and green. They did not go out after that either. Also, nothing came up on my screen—no picture from HDMI or DisplayPort. Even though my monitor is a GamePower and seems to work with my laptop, the PC's display settings stay in sleep mode instead of showing me an image.
I tried resetting my memory sticks by using a screwdriver to touch specific pins labeled JBAT1 as shown on the official MSI manual. I unplugged everything from the wall socket, used the same screwdriver to short-circuit those JBAT1 pins for ten seconds while turning the power off and back on again, but nothing happened. When I tried booting up with a USB stick that had an Ubuntu installation in it, the final light stayed white. According to the manual, when that happens, there is no video detected. If I take out the USB stick, the light sequence changes a little bit but still ends in green or white and shows no display.
Before I started this whole mess, the computer worked perfectly at my local computer shop and was showing a picture all the time (display mode). It's possible something got damaged during the long transport to my house? I am using the power cables that came with the new PSU anyway. But honestly, I don't have another monitor handy to test if it works right now. I tried both HDMI and DisplayPort connections for the monitor, and neither of them worked either.
Here are a few questions I need answers on: Why does my computer start up and then shut down again after the very first power-on? Is this problem caused by my graphics card, power supply unit, or motherboard? Does this specific combo (MSI PRO B760M-P with Intel i5-13400F) have a known issue that makes it reboot on startup? Could you give me any other tips I should try before giving up?

When making a post about fixing things up with your PC, it's good to tell everyone exactly what hardware you have right now. Please write down your build details like this: CPU: Cooler: Motherboard: RAM: Hard Drive or SSD: Graphics Card: Power Supply: Case: Operating System: Monitor: also add the age of your power supply (other than make and model) and the BIOS version for your motherboard as it is today. Because you changed some parts, try to send a picture that shows both before and after your list. Yes I do not have a boot drive because I did not put an SSD in yet. First, I want to see the BIOS screen now but nothing shows up on it. All fans are spinning though. Three parts were new so they are 0 years old (CPU, PSU, and MB). The PSU is an MSI MPG A550BN ATX PC motherboard. The CPU is an Intel Core i5-13400F with a 2.5 GHz speed. I have 32 GB of RAM from Ballistix (2x16GB). Storage includes two SSDs but neither are installed right now. There is no GPU because I forgot the model number but it was sahppire before. My monitor is a Gamepower i. I also removed one stick of RAM for testing, and it looked the same there. At the computer shop, I could see it worked fine in display mode. So maybe it's about my monitor or did I break something while taking it home? Also, he can't think that he could have used an HDMI cable at the time either.
I went back to the computer shop again and worked there. I tried using my power cable, so that's not a problem. I have two guesses: either my display cable is broken, or maybe the setup was only working with VGA because their monitor is also VGA. They use VGA to show the picture, which lets them see it without needing an SSD. Even though they put in a USB stick and could see the Ubuntu menu, we couldn't test the display cable because they are using VGA instead of HDMI. My motherboard has VGA ports, but I think my CPU isn't connected enough to support integrated graphics, so maybe that's why it works with VGA only before. Also, the HDMI connection didn't work at first, but in an old system with a different CPU, it worked fine with that same cable. Now, since this is just a laptop and not the same machine as before, I can try using the HDMI cable to see if it still functions. What I would do is buy a new display cable to check if it's actually broken. If it isn't, then I'll probably need to get a VGA monitor and a VGA-to-HDMI video converter. I even thought about looking for a way to use only VGA at first, but I couldn't find one online. What do you think?
