I've just now learned that the Google app called "Files" (
this one here
) is not saved to the cloud. Is this information accurate?
If so, what are my options to save the contents of this app/folder to the cloud?

I’m not sure what more details you require. I aim to protect myself from losing my phone or having it stolen by saving all my data in the cloud through my Google account as much as possible.
