Google Email (Gmail) Accounts Management
Google Email (Gmail) Accounts Management
Due to the fact that much of the online information is outdated and sometimes conflicting, I decided to share a fresh collection of questions in the hope of resolving the challenges I'm facing.
I manage multiple email accounts under the @gmail.com domain. Based on my email client's saved passwords, it appears each Gmail account has its own password stored in the TB saved PW section. I tend to prefer using Gmail over Google for sending and receiving emails. (Note, I have some trust concerns.) Could it be that these TB passwords are separate from the Google ones? If so, how does my ISP's mail server handle validation issues? Should I disregard them since the messages aren't in their domain?
I've read several articles and watched videos suggesting all Gmail accounts use the same password as my Google account. Is that accurate?
Additionally, it seems Google recognizes emails with my ISP's domain name appended. Although I don’t remember setting this up, I suspect it might have been done in the past. While I appreciate that switching ISPs doesn’t require changes to Gmail addresses, I want to ensure Google doesn’t detect messages sent from or to my ISP accounts. Clearly, I need these email addresses at my ISP to remain independent of Google. How does Google route those messages to its servers?
For the Gmail accounts I use for different purposes, I’d like to have unique passwords for each. Is that feasible?
Given that Google appears to track all my ISP account emails, what steps can I take to prevent this from being visible? Also, if it turns out that separate passwords are possible for different Gmail accounts, how would I update them without affecting other accounts or the Google password?
each gmail account can have a unique password.
